WASHINGTON -- GroupServe, Inc., the wireless groupware application service provider, launched the wireless Palm(TM) version of its premier web discussion service, GroupVine, Friday, while vers ions for Nokia Communicator(TM), and Windows CE(TM) Pocket Internet Explorer will be available later this week.

GroupVine can now be accessed via wireless PDA devices with the Palm OS(TM), such as the 3Com's Palm(TM) series and the Qualcomm pdQ(TM) Smartphone. With this wireless channel of access, GroupServe has executed its first step to capture the wireless groupware market.

GroupServe plans to continue its wireless track by providing GroupVine accessibility to WAP-enabled mobile phones this month. Voice access to GroupVine is also currently being de veloped using Motorola's latest technologies, targeted to be available by the end of the year.

The Palm(TM) version of GroupVine is available at GroupServe's own GroupVine Desktop (www.groupvine.com), as well as many Palm-oriented web sites, such as Palm.Net(TM) (www.palm. net), Tucows.Com, Inc. (www.tucows.com), and PalmGear H.Q.(TM) (www.palmgear.com).
