Munich (Bloomberg) -- "The German company plans to expand its data-networking activities through more acquisitions and alliances in an effort to wrest market share from industry leaders like Finland's Nokia Oyj. Siemens, which is also Europe's fourth-largest cellular phone maker, said today talks with Robert Bosch GmbH about the acquisition of the auto parts maker's mobile phone business could lead to an agreement as early as next month."

"Siemens shares rose 1.3 Euros, or 1.1 percent, to 121 Euros."
