[New mailing list for WAP/WML developers announced.]

Gothenburg Sweden -- WapWarp.com announces a new WAP developers mailing list - wap-dev. The list is intended to foster discussion amongst developers of WAP services and allow for the exchange and growth of ideas.

Possible areas of discussion include;

 WML / WMLS development techniques
 WAP Server technologies
 Combining WML with other languages 
  (PHP, Perl, ASP etc)
 WAP enabled devices
 WAP development jobs
 New WAP sites / applications 
 WAP browsers
WAP is already starting to enable the construction of complex business-driven mobile applications. By pooling resources, developers can learn advanced techniques more quickly, driving the creation of better services. WML and WMLS, the development languages behind WAP, are likely to evolve rapidly. The wap-dev mailing list hopes to give developers a head-start in keeping up with the technology as it develops.
