[Universal Wireless Communications Consortium's Annual Conference Brings Together Global Wireless Telecommunications Leaders April 26 - 28 in Cancun, Mexico.
Bellevue, Wash. -- General Colin L. Powell USA (Ret.) will keynote the 4th Annual Universal Wireless Communications Consortium (UWCC) Global Summit on Thursday, April 27 at the Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Hotel in Cancun, Mexico.
"General Powell will set the stage for what will prove to be our most energetic and informative conference to date," said Sheila Mickool, President of the UWCC. The focus of this year's Global Summit is to bring together global leaders in TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access), EDGE (Enhanced Data Rates for Global Evolution) and WIN (Wireless Intelligence Network) to discuss the latest developments in the wireless industry. Technical experts from Alcatel, AT&T Wireless, Ericsson, Lucent Technologies, Nokia, Nortel Networks, and SBC Wireless, will present White Paper presentations highlighting RF, marketing, network and data aspects of wireless technology. Also, Frank Cappiello, President of McCullough, Andrews & Cappiello, will lead a panel of wireless telecommunication analysts in a discussion on the future of the marketplace and what Wall Street, as well as overseas markets, will be looking for from the wireless industry. Furthermore, Tom Wheeler, President and CEO of the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA) will lead the prestigious UWCC President's Panel, featuring TDMA-EDGE industry leaders. "TDMA-EDGE is poised to be the technology solution that migrates wireless communications seamlessly from 2nd Generation to global 3rd Generation voice interoperability and data convergence" stated Ms. Mickool.
