"INTERNET TELECOM EXPO 2000 today announced a Supplemental Call for Papers for the Conference Program at its new event to be held September 19-21 at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York.
"The tremendous interest in our program has prompted us to add an additional track on Wireless Data and the Mobile Internet to our Conference. We are re-opening the Call for Papers for a seven-day period ending next Friday, May 12, 2000, specifically for papers on Personal Productivity and Mobile e-Commerce through Wireless Data and the Mobile Internet," said Ron Acher, Global Program Director for CMP Media's Converging Communications Group (email@example.com).
"Recognizing the importance of this sector, John Zeglis, Chairman and CEO of the AT&T Wireless Group, will be a major keynote speaker at the event," he added.
"This Supplemental Call for Papers will give an opportunity to players `where telecommunications and the Internet meet,' who have Wireless Personal Productivity and Mobile e-Commerce plans and solutions applicable to business, to offer understanding and insights to our audience," he said.
"Some topic examples include: Mobile Phones, PDAs, Personal Access Networks: Ultimate Productivity?; WAP Business Models and Value Chains; Mobile IP, HDR, 3G, and GPS: Why They Are in Your Business Future; Fixed Wireless: Wireless LANs, The Wireless Local Loop, MMDS and LMDS.
"Interested speakers are invited to submit at the Call for Papers page on the event Web site www.I-TelecomExpo.com on or before Friday, May 12.
