Taiwan -- "Keiji Tachikawa, chairman of Japan's NTT DoCoMo Inc., said his company would extend its reach in China's telecommunication market ahead of its partnership with KG Telecommunications Co., Ltd., its new Taiwanese partner.

"KG Telecom Chairman Leslie Koo said the tie-up between the Japanese enterprise and Taiwan's telecommunication leaders will benefit both parties, providing NTT DoCoMo with a shortcut into the large Chinese market, and making it easier for KG Telecom to take the lead among the wireless broadband service providers in the Greater China area.
