[Covigo Platform Enables World's Leading Cricket Information Company, CricInfo, to Offer Live Cricket Scores, News and Information Wirelessly to its 15 Million Users Around the World.]

Belmont, Calif -- Covigo, Inc., the wireless platform provider enabling businesses to adapt to the changing mobile world, has successfully wireless-enabled CricInfo's business-to-consumer website (www.cricinfo.com). The application, deployed on a hosted version of the patent-pending Covigo Platform provides users with access to live cricket scores and up to the minute news and information whenever and wherever they want it.

As part of its strategic goal to provide its informational and transactional services over multiple media platforms, CricInfo undertook an ambitious project to launch the CricInfo wireless service within a period of a few weeks. CricInfo is rapidly joining the ranks of companies in other industries such as business travel, financial services and communications who are wireless-enabling their applications in order to increase user loyalty and expand revenue opportunities.

The Covigo Platform provides a completely network and device agnostic wireless solution, enabling CricInfo to make its wireless site accessible from any Internet enabled mobile phone, PDA, or other wireless device, connected to any type of wireless network, such as GSM and CDMA. This is a key requirement for CricInfo because cricket has a global following with large fan bases in Australia, UK, Asia, North America, Southern Africa and the Caribbean.

"Time was of the essence for CricInfo, as we had a very tight schedule to get the wireless site operational before an England Test match. Covigo was able to offer a swift and painless implementation cycle and the ability to handle all sorts of networks, which was an absolutely vital consideration for us when we selected a wireless applications platform. CricInfo is now able to concentrate on increasing revenues and enhancing the service it offers visitors to the site without worrying about compatibility issues wherever they are logging on from," said Peter Griffiths CricInfo's Managing Director. "With the deployment of the Covigo Platform, we are able to reach our 15 million users on a minute-by-minute basis."

"Covigo's platform is powerful and robust enough to generate hundreds of pages in different formats every second from the same database that powers CricInfo's conventional web site. Covigo will also enable CricInfo to offer SMS alerts during Test matches to fans, irrespective of the type of network they are connected to," said Ken Morton, General Manager, Covigo Europe.

The Covigo solution had to be able to accommodate rapid buildout of wireless applications independent of the mobile channels accessed by CricInfo's customers. The Covigo Platform was identified as the preferred wireless application platform and one that would support rapid development and deployment of enterprise-class applications across voice and visual mobile channels. Key to the development of the project and the forward development of the solution is the facility for CricInfo's team to leverage Covigo's expertise and experience in wireless technologies to ensure delivery of additional applications in the future and adaptation to changes in end-user requirements and wireless technologies.
