] by Dan McDonough, Jr -- "With the advent of data apps for mobile phones, it seems logical that the next step for handsets could be a QWERTY keyboard. Anyone who has tried to surf the Web on a WAP (wireless application protocol)-enabled phone knows it can be a tedious, time-consuming task.
