AlphaOmega Soft Will Release Camera Server for FOMA

[Users of M4BOX will need to subscribe to "V-Live" (tentative name), a new live image distribution service to be launched in April by NTT DoCoMo.]

Tokyo -- "AlphaOmega Soft Co., Ltd. said it will release a camera server that can distribute live images to video cellular phones compatible with NTT DoCoMo Inc.'s FOMA service in March 2002.

"M4BOX will be able to distribute images taken by a video camera to multiple FOMA video phones via the Internet on a real-time basis.

"The price will be open, but the subsidiary of Fujitsu Ltd. plans to sell the new products for a retail price of between 190,000 yen and 200,000 yen.
