DoCoMo Introduces the "F2611" Terminal

[This terminal comes with router/hub functions and is designed for temporary offices by creating a LAN to connect up to 4 PCs wirelessly to the web.]

NTT DoCoMo to make its new FOMA F2611 terminal available April 22, 2002. The main features of the terminal, which is equipped with hub and router functions, include high speed packet data transmission up to 384 kbps on the down and up links and a hub for connecting up to four PCs. There is also a Bluetooth(tm) handset that comes with the terminal and is usable up to 7 meters from the terminal.

The FOMA "F2611" terminal measures 191 mm x 151 mm x 39.5 mm and weighs 650g. It has four LAN ports and one USB port. The handset is 39mm x 20.4 mm x 135 mm and weighs 70 g. It has 120 minutes of continuous talk time and 30 hours of continuous standy time.
