San Diego, Calif. -- QUALCOMM Incorporated announced the official line-up of sponsors, speakers, exhibitors and entertainment for its third annual BREW Developers Conference in San Diego, April 28-30. The conference provides a networking forum for attendees as well as opportunities to learn from general session, technical and business tracks dedicated to sharing knowledge and expert resources on QUALCOMM's Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless (BREW) platform. An estimated 1,200 attendees are expected at the event.

"We are extremely pleased by the successes of the BREW solution during the past year -- particularly about the fact that so many of our partners have enjoyed significant revenue from BREW-based applications and services," said Peggy Johnson, president, QUALCOMM Internet Services. "Many of the world's leading operators have adopted the BREW solution as the foundation for their wireless data offerings, proving the global validity of the BREW solution and demonstrating its contribution to fast and easy wireless data service deployments."

Dr. Paul E. Jacobs, president of QUALCOMM Wireless & Internet Group, will kick-off the conference on Tuesday morning, April 29. Keynote and general session speeches will follow, featuring QUALCOMM executives and wireless industry leaders.
