Fujitsu shows prototype SVGA PDA

Tokyo -- Fujitsu Labs has unveiled a prototype Wi-Fi capable PDA with a SVGA display measuring 4 inches and sporting a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels. Communications capabilities include 802.11b, Bluetooth, and IR, and it provides built-in support for virtual private networks (VPN) enabling the user to safely access remote PCs.

According to Fujitsu, this PDA is the first to support a 4-inch SVGA display.

A Compact Flash card slot serves as an accessory port if the user needs access to public wireless networks.
