[The Soleil E600 notebook, developed in China, brings communication and computing one step closer.]

Hong Kong -- Legend Group Limited announced the launch of its first collaborative notebook computer Soleil E600 which is characterized by high level of collaborating and security. This is the first locally developed notebook in China that contains a number of self-designed technologies, including heat dispersal, structure and industrial designs, representing a breakthrough of Legend in its notebook computer technology development.

Equipped with more than 10 patented inventions on security and collaborating, embedded with "FreeLink" software of the Collaborating Application Protocol, and installed with Legend's system and data security solution - "I Key", Soleil E600 is believed to be the most secured notebook computer in the world.

The launch of G900 that is equipped 260,000-color display and dual-CPU features once again demonstrated Legend's strong mobile handset research and development capability. The Group has put great emphasis on this core competence, which allows its products to stand out from competition. Legend believes the convergence of communication and computing is the future trend for mobile handset product functionality.

As notebook computer becomes increasingly popular, collaborating and security will be the future direction in notebook design. Legend's self-developed "FreeLink" enables Soleil E600 to be connected wirelessly and to achieve intelligent grouping without access point (AP) and wireless LAN. Embedded with the Collaborating Application Protocol, Soleil E600 can be connected to other collaborative devices such as printer, projector, PC, PDA to share resources in the office. Hence, it can significantly reduce the TCO (total cost of ownership) for the corporate users.
