Tokyo -- "Panasonic Communications Co, Ltd has announced that it will launch an IP mobile phone with a wireless LAN function as early as 2004.

Mizutani said he hopes to use the dual-mode mobile phone compliant with both NTT DoCoMo's third-generation (3G) mobile phone service called FOMA and the wireless LAN service, as internal phones in the future."
