|Walt Disney Internet Group Unveils First 3D Game Tron 2.0 3D|

[New 3D game from the Walt Disney Internet Group announced, Tron 2.0 3D, being developed with Superscape to be released later this Spring. Both Brew(tm) and Java versions to be available.]
CTIA Atlanta -- The Walt Disney Internet Group (WDIG) announced today that it is currently developing its first 3D mobile game, Tron 2.0 3D, based on the award-winning PC game from Buena Vista Interactive. The game is slated to be among the first 3D mobile content released later this spring as 3D capable phones launch in the U.S. The title will be available for both QUALCOMM's Brew(TM) solution and the Java platform.
Tron 2.0 3D is being developed in conjunction with Superscape using their real-time 3D Swerve engine and development tools.
About TRON 2.0 the PC Game
Inspired by TRON, the ground-breaking science-fiction film, TRON 2.0 is a first-person PC game that delivers immersive story-driven gameplay packed with intense action, virtual viral villains and a unique visual style. Developed by critically acclaimed Monolith Productions, TRON 2.0 takes place in present day, approximately 20 years after the events of the film. Playing as Jet Bradley, son of ENCOM programmer Alan Bradley from the TRON film, gamers are digitized into cyberspace and race on light cycles, battle corruption both inside and outside of the computer world, and explore locations including the Internet Hub, Firewall, Corrupted Server and Light Cycle Game Grid.
