Ericsson CEO Targets 2006 for 3G Bandwidth Boost

By Tony Cripps, Stockholm -- "A major bandwidth boost to WCDMA should hit the world's 3G networks by the start of 2006, according to LM Ericsson Telefon AB president and CEO Carl-Henrik Svanberg. The technology, known as HSDPA, will bring multi-megabit bandwidth to mobile network users and open up new opportunities for operators."
