Philips to launch the GPRS 755 handset featuring a touch screen that you can scribble a message on with the Tag-It pen for personalizing your own "MMS postcards." Features include a large 65K TFT touch screen display with a resolution of 128x160 pixels and a Tag-It pen for easy MMS. The 755 has an integrated VGA, CMOS camera with 640x480 resolution and a digital zoom. A total of 7MB of storage space is available for storing lots of photos and other data. And personalized polyphonic ringtones can be created with BeDJ.
You can also synchronize the 755 with your PC using Lotus Notes and MS Outlook via infrared.
Speech recognition is also available on the 755 including conversation recording, voice command, voice dial, voice memo, and voice recognition
Charging time is less than 2 hours and talk time is up to 5 hours.
Optional accessories include a USB jack cable, TV link, Deluxe headset, Carry case, Cigarette lighter adapter, Necklace, and a Universal car kit
The 77 will be available in Silver alloy, Red metal, or Bright aluminium colors.
It has an integrated antenna and weighs in at 89 grams. Dimensions are 106 x 46 x 18 mm
The candybar style handset is expected to be available early next year.
