MobiTV Launches on Midwest Wireless Network

[MobiTV launches in the Midwest and is available to subscribers for $8.59 per month on the LG VX 6000 and Audiovox 8900 offering tv news and entertainment programing from 20 channels.]

Berkeley, Calif. -- MobiTV, the world's first television network for wireless phones, has launched on the Midwest Wireless network. The launch expands MobiTV's reach in Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin, and makes live TV available on the mobile phones of more than 400,000 Midwest Wireless customers throughout the region.

The newest television distribution medium since Satellite TV, MobiTV is available to Midwest Wireless subscribers for $8.59 per month on two phones -- the LG VX 6000 and the Audiovox 8900. For the first time, these customers can enjoy television news and entertainment programs from over 20 leading channels, including MSNBC, ABC News Now, NBC Mobile, FOX Sports, Discovery, The Learning Channel, C-SPAN1 and C-SPAN2, anywhere, anytime.
