Acapela Group releases their new version of Acapela Telecom (5.2), its speech engine designed to voice enable Entreprise and Telco applications and services, from single host solutions to distributed architectures, such as contact centres, auto attendant, voice portals, web content reading access to databases, SMS to voice or email reading, etc.
With Acapela Telecom, updated written information becomes easily accessible from any phone in real time, 24/7. Content reading ranges from simple messages to large data bases.
Acapela Telecom transforms text into natural speech, reading it aloud with the flexibility and richness of natural souding speech. It speaks multiple languages and reads proper names, numbers and currencies for optimal restitution of information. Thanks to its highly sophisticated pre-processing module, Acapela Telecom also perfectly converts emails, HTML or RTF content into speech.

The SDK is delivered with different API's (NSCAPI, SAPI 4&5.1, Nuance and a native Java client supporting JSAPI and JSML, and Active X) to ease the integration in the application framework. The Windows Edition will be followed by the Linux Edition at the end of April 2005.
