Marc Arseneau, President and CEO of Kangaroo Media Inc. announced today the first sale of Kangaroo.TV multimedia wireless devices to Nextel Communications. The value of the order is $450,000US. This first order from Nextel is a significant milestone for Kangaroo Media towards achieving its goal of launching Kangaroo.TV, a unique on-site broadcasting and multimedia communications system.
Nextel Communications, is a leading provider of wireless communications on the largest all-digital wireless network in the U.S.
The Generation II Kangaroo.TV units will use digital transmission to enhance sound and image quality, develop external connectivity, enhance memory capacity, and develop other advanced capabilities. The devices will be manufactured by a large consumer electronics manufacturer headquartered in Hong Kong.
