JavaOne, San Francisco, CA -- Announced today at the 2005 JavaOneSM Conference, the new compact Motorola E895 combines a rich, intuitive feature set with Motorola's signature clam-shell design to deliver the ultimate in multimedia.

SUMMARY OF FEATURES:

* Feature rich flip phone design with focus on size and finish and an internal tri-band antenna

* Impressively large internal and external color displays

* Integrated 1.3 megapixel camera with full screen viewfinder, photo indicator light and 8x zoom

* Video capture and playback, 3GPP streaming and the ability to view files as they download*

* Next generation Linux and Java software

* Bluetooth wireless technology to connect cord-free to compatible Bluetooth enabled devices, as well as the Motorola Bluetooth Stereo Headset for wireless music enjoyment. The E895 supports Bluetooth profiles GAP, OPP, SDAP, SPP, HSP AG, HFP AG, DUN GW, A2DP, AVRCP, BPP, FTP, and JSR 82

* SyncML for easy sharing of contact lists, calendars are more

* Streaming audio with high quality audio enhancements via headset

* Shared media player with multiple audio codecs and stereo thru the enhanced mini-USB headset jack

* Up to 10 MB of embedded memory; TransFlash(tm) removable memory for up to 512 MB of optional memory

* Speaker independent voice recognition to make a call by simply stating a name or desired digits - no pre-recording necessary

* Situational lighting around the camera lens in addition to enhanced lighting of the keypad, displays and photo indicator light for a multi-sensorial experience

* Full HTML / XHTML Browser

* Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS), as well as Instant Messaging

The Motorola E895 is expected to be available in Q4 2005.
