NTT DoCoMo's Raku-Raku Phone II based on Symbian

[Symbian announces 15th Symbian OS-based mobile phone for the Japanese market, the Raku-Raku Phone II for NTT DoCoMo manufactured by Fujitsu.]

Symbian Ltd. today announced that the NTT DoCoMo FOMA(tm) Raku-Raku PHONE II, which was launched on, August 19, 2005, is based on Symbian OS, the leading, open standards based operating system for advanced mobile phones. The Raku-Raku PHONE II is manufactured by Symbian OS licensee Fujitsu Limited.

This increases the total number of Symbian OS-based mobile phones available in Japan to 15. The Symbian OS brings higher quality mobile phones with better features quickly to consumers, expanding the 3G cell phone market even further.
