[The Nokia Linux-based 770 Internet Tablet announced back in May is now shipping in Europe. The 770 will only be available online direct from Nokia.]

Nokia has made the 770 Internet Tablet available on its direct.nokia web site at a price of 359.00 euros.

It is uncertain when it will be made available in the U.S. Interested buyers can sign up on the Nokia USA web site to receive e-mail updates on the 770's U.S. debut.

The Nokia 770 Internet Tablet features Internet browsing and e-mail in a pocket-size format. It has a 65K color 800x480 touch screen and wide screen display with zoom and on-screen keyboard. Besides built-in Wi-Fi, the 770 also features Bluetooth Internet connectivity via a compatible mobile phone.
