The award winning W600i Walkman phone sells for $299.99 with a three-year service agreement from Rogers Wireless and is available for purchase at Rogers Wireless dealer and retail points of sale across Canada or online at www.rogers.com. Thanks to Sony Ericsson and SONY BMG MUSIC (CANADA) INC. the phone comes embedded with three free tracks including Franz Ferdinand - Do You Want To, Our Lady Peace - Angels/Losing/Sleep and Destiny's Child - Cater 2 U allowing customers to experience the musical muscle of the Walkman phone right out of the box.

The W600i includes Bluetooth(TM) wireless connectivity, EDGE capability, and is quad-band, allowing it to be used all over the world. And, with its 256 megabytes of internal memory, the W600i Walkman phone stores up to ten full length CDs or between 80 and 120 songs, depending on the compression rate.

Music On the Move

The W600i Walkman phone handles multiple file formats, including MP3 and AAC, and comes packaged with Disc2Phone PC software that enables quick, convenient transfer of music onto the phone via a PC. Consumers can also easily browse, sort, find, transfer and delete music files. In addition, accessing music on the handset is quick and easy via dedicated music buttons that play, pause and stop music tracks.

With a unique music flight mode setting that turns off the mobile phone transmitter, consumers can listen to music anywhere - even on an airplane. The W600i Walkman phone will play music for up to 15 hours with the full function of the phone on, or up to 30 hours with the phone in music mode.
