A Trip to Fantasy Island
The weather may be cold. But for the grand prize winner of Virgin Mobile's "12 Days of Chrismahanukwanzakah" sweepstakes, it's all about blue skies, warm waters and the luxe life. The lucky grand prize winner will take three guests along for week-long VIP package trip to Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands - private hideaway of Branson and other luminaries. These guests will get the star treatment throughout their "Celebration Week," including roundtrip airfare and high-speed boat transfers to Necker, double- occupancy room accommodations in the Great House, all meals and drinks on the house, and even an extra $500 thrown in for a little spending money.
Starting on Tuesday, December 20, and running through Saturday, December 31, 2005, each voice call made by Virgin Mobile customers on their Virgin Mobile wireless handsets to 1-888-ELF-7667 will count as one entry into the "12 Days of Chrismahanukwanzakah" sweepstakes. That means the more phone calls a customer makes on his or her Virgin Mobile phone to the help line, the more chances he or she has of setting sail for sunnier shores.
In addition to this "lifestyles of the rich and famous" grand prize, Virgin Mobile is also offering other chances to win. Three winners can choose from one of the following three possible exciting first prizes:
--A pair of round-trip airplane tickets to London on Virgin Atlantic Airways, featuring complimentary cocktails, a personal entertainment
center with 43 channels of first run movies, games and television programming and surprise ice cream so your trip starts before you even leave the ground. This prize also includes ground transportation and standard double occupancy hotel accommodations for three nights;
--Virgin Mobile VIP membership, good for five years. VIP membership entitles the winner to annual Virgin Mobile wireless handset upgrades,
$600 in annual Top-Up (airtime replenishment) for their Virgin Mobile account, and an invitation to Virgin Mobile USA's all-out fifth birthday party bash in 2007; or
--A $5,000 scholarship funded by Virgin Mobile, which can be used for education or educational travel.
Finally, 5,000 second prize winners will receive $5 in Virgin Mobile airtime bonuses.
