Toronto, ON -- Toronto-based Generator Productions, a leading producer of multi-platform original content, has launched their latest made-for-mobile video content series, 'Poledancers.' Having debuted on August 7, 2006 on select wireless networks across the Canada, 'Poledancers' is set to target the growing audience of video-enabled cellular and mobile device users by taking advantage of the current pole dancing exercise craze across Canada.
Following the success of Generator Production's first original mobile video content launch last year, which features weekly video horoscopes distributed across mobile carrier networks, the company has developed the new original segments to expand their roster of made-for-mobile video content.
Capitalizing on the latest exercise trend, the 'Poledancers' series features two new pole dancing video segments per week, each up to two minutes in length, that can be downloaded to cellular phones or mobile devices that are video-enabled. Generator created the series utilizing production methods special to mobile content. Each video download will be approximately 2-minutes in length and will feature angles tailored for the ultra small screen. The cost of each video download will be two dollars plus applicable downloading fees.
"While we know the content is risque in nature, we are pleased with the way we've handled the subject matter," said Marcus. "The mobile format opens the doors to various themes and topics for production. Our mandate is to develop the right content that meets demand by making it entertaining, mobile friendly, easy-to-use and affordable."
To enhance the overall viewing experience, original music tracks for the series are provided by Handlebar Music based in Toronto, Ontario.
