Irvine, CA -- The latest edition to Boost's portfolio of phones designed to appeal to its style savvy female customers, the Motorola i835 handsets in purple and white are the ultimate fashion accessories as well as mobile devices to carry through the seasons.

The Motorola i835 in purple from Boost Mobile is the only purple-colored phone out on the U.S. market. This sophisticated handset features a discreet floral design in complementary colors that accents its contemporary style and is preloaded with feminine wallpapers such as "Sweet Lilac" and music and voice ringtones featuring a personal butler.

The Motorola i835 in white from Boost Mobile is candy striped in frost and ice with an exterior screen that lights up with vibrant disco lights that move to the beat of a MIDI ringtone. In addition, a brightly lit keypad makes for easy dialing or playing 5-Card Draw with confidence.

Both handsets' artistic exteriors were designed by Boost Mobile's in-house creative designer, Gina Scollick, who took a feminine approach to the Motorola i835. "I wanted to design a phone for girls that was feminine, but not bubble gum," said Scollick. "The designs of the purple and white i835 phones from Boost Mobile were created for a diverse group of individuals with various tastes and life stories - the diversity and uniqueness of each individual is what inspires my work."

The i835 handsets in purple and white also include an AgION antimicrobial coating to help protect the phones' painted surfaces from damaging bacteria, in addition to featuring the latest mobile GPS capabilities such as TeleNav(TM) that assists users in navigating to a destination using real-time visual and audible driving directions for $5 for four routes. And as with all Boost Mobile phones, the i835 handset features Boost(TM) Walkie-Talkie, which offers Nextel's nationwide walkie-talkie service for a $1 per day for unlimited national usage, and the charge applies only when the service is used.

Exclusively from Boost Mobile, the Motorola i835 handsets in purple and white are available today at www.boostmobile.com and local wireless dealers for a suggested retail price of $129.99.

Also launched this month for Boost Mobile customers is a new "hybrid prepaid" option, called Boost Premium Prepaid(SM), which offers multiple plan choices with convenient cash or credit payment options, and no term contract or commitment. Customers can sign up either online at www.boostmobile.com or direct from the handset for one of Boost Premium Prepaid's three monthly rate packages of $30, $50 and $70.
