Motorola delivers new KRZR K3, RIZR Z6 and Z8, and SLVR L9

[Motorola let loose its new GSM portfolio of handsets at 3GSM including the MOTOKRZR K3, MOTORIZR Z8, MOTOSLVR L9, and the MOTORIZR Z6. ]

MOTOKRZR K3:

Incorporating a 'no compromises' use of colour, materials and finishes, MOTOKRZR K3 follows Motorola's iconic MOTOKRZR design language in a powerful clamshell handset that features lightning fast access to rich content through HSDPA connectivity providing instant media downloads and streaming video.

MOTOKRZR K3 includes two integrated digital cameras allowing users to share their mobile experiences. An internal VGA camera enables real-time face-to-face video calls between users, while the handset's 2MP digital camera with 8x digital zoom can capture the moment while on the move. MOTOKRZR K3 also features USB 2.0 connectivity, 64MB of onboard memory(2) with a microSD slot and stereo Bluetooth wireless technology providing hands free listening to music and conversations.

Availability

MOTOKRZR K3 is expected to be available during Q1 2007.

MOTORIZR Z6:

Motorola today announced MOTORIZR Z6, a multimedia masterpiece, merging the latest music features and a powerful digital imaging platform with a cutting-edge metallic slider design.

MOTORIZR Z6 is Motorola's first Linux-Java software based handset that incorporates Windows Media technology allowing users to sync music to their phone from over 200 music stores worldwide.

The handset's dedicated music key, enhanced audio capabilities and integrated music player, with support for multiple music formats, provides a compelling music experience.

Cutting edge Bluetooth enabled accessories for wireless music streaming like the new Motorola S9 deliver a true hands-free music experience for consumers. Stylish, comfortable and engineered with cutting-edge Bluetooth wireless technology, the Motorola S9 provides wireless access to music and calls from a compatible Bluetooth enabled phone while on the go. The lightweight Motorola S9 fits snugly around the user's head and provides premium stereo performance for active-lifestylers on the move.

MOTORIZR Z8:

MOTORIZR(TM) Z8 also features Motorola's first ever "kick slider," a graceful mechanism that achieves a "fit-to-face" profile by gliding open in a curve to match the contour of your face.

With high-speed connectivity via HSDPA, and a multimedia feature set that includes a brilliant 16 million colour 35x50mm QVGA full screen display, MOTORIZR Z8 boasts video playback speeds of up to 30 frames per second. In addition to its 90MB of internal memory, the device also supports expandable memory up to 4GB using MicroSD, enough space for full length movies, hours of music or tons of pictures.

The unprecedented entertainment experience is brought to life via a partnership with BSkyB which will users to access Sky's mobile content services. As well as offering access to an on-demand library of updating news, entertainment and sports, Sky's 'Anytime' application also provides an access point to Sky's range of live mobile TV services. Anytime also allows customers to use their mobile phone to programme their Sky+ boxes remotely.

The handset also features Stereo Bluetooth wireless technology as well as a built-in music player and a 2MP digital camera with dedicated side camera key, while the onboard video and audio system records in mpeg 4 and 3gp (for MMS) completing the handset's imaging package.

Availability

MOTORIZR Z8 will be available from April 2007.

MOTOSLVR L9:

MOTOSLVR L9 provides users with a rich multimedia experience with impressive features including an integrated music player and FM radio, outstanding performance, powerful imaging and features Motorola's new CrystalTalk(TM) technology, making it easy to hold conversations in noisy environments.

MOTOSLVR L9's integrated music player with stereo Bluetooth wireless technology allows users to freely enjoy music wirelessly on the go. Even when travelling, users can listen to their music uninterrupted in airplane mode.

The complete music experience doesn't just end there. MOTOSLVR L9's integrated FM radio supports Radio Data System (RDS), providing radio station information - including such details as the song genre, song title, or radio station name - all on the handset's main screen.

MOTOSLVR L9 also provides users with a rich visual entertainment experience via a 2.0 mega-pixel camera with 8x digital zoom, video capture with 4x zoom and full screen landscape playback.
