San Diego, CA -- Javaground USA Inc., a leading solution provider for the mobile content development industry, announced that nearly 500 builds based on eight applications have now been ported by BREW publishers and developers using Javaground's automated development and porting Solution which ports Java applications to C/C++. The Javaground Solution is an efficient tool allowing developers to port content from the Java 2 Micro Edition(TM) (J2ME(TM)) platform to QUALCOMM's BREW solution. Javaground will showcase its products in booth #20 at the BREW 2007 Conference, being held June 20 - 22 in San Diego.

"Last year, we introduced our Java to BREW automated conversion technology at the BREW 2006 Conference. Just a year later, Javaground is pleased to have created nearly 500 builds that have been ported by leading BREW publishers and developers leveraging the strength of the automated converter, an integral part of the Javaground Solution's suite," said Alexandre Kral, chief executive officer of Javaground. "This is impressive as it has allowed numerous application developers to leverage the capabilities of BREW by easily porting their products using the Javaground Solution."

"For non-BREW publishers and developers needing a way to showcase their products on the BREW platform, the Javaground Solution can help make the conversion process easier and progress in a more time-sensitive fashion," said Christophe Bernard, staff manager, developer relations for QUALCOMM Internet Services. "Using Javaground's BREW porting Solution, publishers and developers are able to increase their visibility and target additional consumers with their products."

"By working with Javaground to develop games like Casino Royale and Spider-Man 3, we have been able to port each title to more than 450 handsets in less than six weeks. Their tools have had a significant impact on our development and porting process, helping to improve quality, performance and time-to-market," stated Spencer Hunt, Executive Director of SOE - Los Angeles.

BREW solutions change the way people relate to wireless data services. By enabling discovery and delivery of high-value content, BREW creates opportunities for the wireless industry to enhance consumers' mobile data experience. QUALCOMM's comprehensive and targeted BREW Signature Solutions offer reduced time-to-market and lower capital investment for companies providing mobile products and services. Customers also can benefit from several modular BREW offerings, including uiOne(TM), deliveryOne(TM) and QPoint(TM), which provide the foundation for customer-differentiated wireless data capabilities.

Javaground offers a free 1-month trial license of its mobile development and porting Solution. Contact the company at BrewConverter@javaground.com to obtain the free trial license.
