[Virgin Mobile USA deploys Telespree's Over-The-Air automated handset programming process.]

San Francisco -- Telespree Communications, the leading device based self-service platform provider for wireless carriers and Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs), announced that Virgin Mobile USA has deployed Telespree's Over-The-Air (OTA) solution to automate its mobile handset programming process. Virgin Mobile USA, a leading national provider of wireless communications services without annual contracts serving nearly five million customers, implemented Telespree's solution to further improve its customer experience.

"At Virgin Mobile USA, we are continually working to enhance our award-winning customer service processes," said James Gamm, vice president of Information Technology for Virgin Mobile USA. "With Telespree, we focused on the device programming process, eliminating manual entry and any associated errors, creating an even simpler and more convenient consumer experience. Virgin Mobile USA customers can purchase a cool, new phone and get it programmed quickly, allowing them to begin using service immediately after activation without any hassles."

Virgin Mobile USA deployed Telespree technology for first time programming of new devices as well as for existing users who want to change or upgrade their mobile phones. The phone is automatically programmed, without manual inputs or assistance from customer care agents via the Telespree OTA process. Virgin Mobile USA began incorporating the Telespree programming solution on Virgin Mobile USA handsets in the third quarter 2007, and plans to implement the OTA solution in all new Virgin Mobile USA handsets.

"Telespree's over-the-air solution helps Virgin Mobile USA reduce variable support and customer care costs while staying at the forefront of customer service," said Bill deKay, CEO for Telespree.

Telespree's self-service solution streamlines wireless device programming and provisioning of voice and data devices. The Telespree platform delivers secure authentication and over-the-air device programming to any non-active, wireless device without customer care or inputs. The self-service platform allows carriers to offer 100% automated device programming as well as service enrollment and ongoing account maintenance to customers and retail channels, resulting in significantly lower customer support costs and an improved end-user experience.
