By Elizabeth Woyke (Forbes) -- "Where did you buy your latest mobile phone? If you bought it last year, chances are you're one of the 75 million or so Americans who got their mobile phone from a shop run by their carrier. Only about 5.5 million got their phone from an electronics store, according to market research service TraQline. But in the not too distant future, you may wind up going to a general electronics retailer instead."
