MobileTechNews -- Sprint has dropped the price of the Nexus S 4G from Google to $99.99 with a two-year contract. New Sprint customers can also get up to a $125 service credit by moving to a new line at Sprint. The phone launched on May 8 for $199.99.

The Sprint Nexus S 4G runs Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) the latest version of Android for smartphones. It is also the only phone currently available with a near-field communication (NFC) chip. It offers a 1 GHz Hummingbird processor and 16GB of built in memory. The Nexus S 4G comes preloaded with 4 of the most popular Google apps and is enabled with features like true multi-tasking, Wi-Fi hotspot, internet calling and full HTML Web browsing.
