The long rumored iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S phones were announced by Apple today. The device supports an 8 megapixel camera and is priced at $99 for 16 GB ($549 unsubsidized) and $199 for 32 GB ($649 unsubsidized), while the iPhone 5S is priced at $199 for 16 GB ($649 unsubsidized), $299 for 32 GB ($749 unsubsidized) and $399 for 64 GB ($849 unsubsidized).
The iPhone 5C comes in five seamless case colors, white, red, blue, yellow and green. It offers a 4 inch retina display, and will run the iOS7 operating system.
The iPhone 5S is a higher end phone with aluminum construction, is available in three colors, gold, silver and gray, specs a 250 hour standby battery life, and includes a camera with fast action and slow motion capabilities. The iPhone 5S's Home button serves as a fingerprint reader which Apple calls "Touch ID".
Pre-orders open next week with deliveries starting on September 20.
