Seoul, Korea -- Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today unveiled “Another Me,” a captivating advertising campaign created to demonstrate how Samsung’s latest wearable devices, the Gear 2 and Gear Fit, help real people stay connected anytime, anywhere. The campaign includes online and mobile videos that chronicle the true story of Samantha Futerman and Anais Bordier, identical twins who were separated at birth and recently reunited.
“Technology today has made it easier than ever before to build new relationships, stay in touch, and even reconnect with family and friends,” said Younghee Lee, Executive Vice President of Global Marketing, IT& Mobile Communications Division at Samsung Electronics. “Our new campaign highlights how Gear 2 and Gear Fit support Samsung’s goal of making mobile experiences that both improve your daily life and provide you with the most superior connectivity.
The “Another Me” campaign illustrates a remarkable story of the powerful ways in which modern technology helped bring long lost twin sisters, Samantha and Anais, back together for the first time since birth. Samantha and Anais had been unknowingly bonded for years through their shared height, weight, habits and hobbies. The technology that powered their reunion finally allowed them to become one and truly feel complete. By highlighting this heartwarming journey to connect their lives and the world, the story of these two sisters helps reveal how Samsung wearable devices allow consumers to always remain in sync.
With Samsung’s Gear 2 and Gear Fit, the sisters are able to stay united - no matter what they are doing or how far apart they might be. Throughout their poignant journey, the Gear 2 and Gear Fit help reveal the many ways in which they remain connected and in sync. This connection is incredibly powerful despite the fact these sisters are living separate lives in different parts of the world.
