[Nokia enables high-speed mobile Internet connectivity for CeBIT attendees, at the Hanover Airport and selected local hotels
Hanover, Germany -- "Nokia today announced the delivery of its high-speed wireless networking solution, within selected areas of the CeBIT exhibition grounds, the Hanover Airport, and the Maritim Grand, Maritim City and Arabella Sheraton hotels. When travelling through enabled areas, users experience wirelessly Internet access at speeds over 50 times faster than normal dial-up connection.

By giving attendees at CeBIT access to this groundbreaking technology, Nokia further demonstrates the vision of the Mobile Information Society", said Rainer M. "In Germany, this is just our first step to provide traveling professionals with reliable high-speed access to the Internet and their corporate data when and where they need it."
"With this solution, 400 attendees at the CeBIT 2000 Trade Show, will be among the first in the world to experience the benefits of broadband wireless connectivity. Nokia will provide the service in co-operation with Lufthansa Systems, part of the Lufthansa IT Services Group. The companies may consider a partnership in a follow up project.
