The LG-510 is an ultra-slim (15mm) flip-type GPRS handset weighing in at 78 grams. It has a WAP browser, an 8-line LCD display and voice dial recording. It operates at data transmission speeds of 115kbps.

LGE has also established an organization in China responsible for overseeing its communication business and running an R&D center. Although a recent newcomer to the GSM scene globally, LGE plans on expanding its market base in Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia later this year.
