[Qualcomm signs licensing agreement with AirWalk allowing them to expand CDMA into the enterprise market.]

San Diego and Dallas -- Qualcomm, pioneer and world leader of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) digital wireless technology, today announced that it has signed a commercial infrastructure license agreement with AirWalk Communications, Inc. Under the terms of the worldwide, royalty-bearing agreement, Qualcomm has granted AirWalk a license under Qualcomm's CDMA patent portfolio to develop, manufacture and sell wireless infrastructure equipment for private, in-building or campus-wide network enterprise applications using cdmaOne, CDMA2000 1X and CDMA2000 1xEV-DO/1xEV-DV technologies.

"Qualcomm is pleased to license AirWalk Communications to help them expand CDMA into the enterprise market," said Greg Cobb, vice president and assistant general manager of technology licensing for Qualcomm. "This agreement demonstrates Qualcomm's commitment to providing companies with solutions that enable them to build high-speed wireless enterprise equipment."

"AirWalk now has the opportunity to support U.S. and Asian enterprise service providers with complete, high-speed voice and data wireless networks," said Jake Han, CEO, AirWalk Communications Inc. "We look forward to contributing to a market segment that will allow us to grow our business."
