Munich -- Siemens Information and Communication Mobile (Siemens mobile) launches the C62, a mid-range triband mobile phone with an optional attachable QuickPic Camera with integrated flash, rich color screen and modern design.

Launched today at www.siemensmobilelaunch.com, the Siemens C62 is designed for sharing fun moments with friends instantly. Equipped with multimedia messaging (MMS), users can take color pictures with the easy-to-use attachable QuickPic Camera with flash and send them fast -- from almost anywhere in the world. So capturing and sharing pictures of your music heroes in action at a festival or telling everyone about a party as it happens couldn't be easier.

If you want fashionable looks combined with great features at good value the C62 is perfect. Its modern design, three-tone color scheme, bar keypad layout and chrome touches make a stylish statement. Polyphonic ring tones, fun games and organization software -- like Calendar -- are packed into the small handset, and are easy to use thanks to a simple interface. Plus, a GPRS facility means downloading logos, ring tones, games and applications fast from a massive choice at www.my-siemens.com/city is easy.

Rudi Lamprecht, Member of the Managing Board at Siemens AG and President of Siemens Information and Communication Mobile stated: "Socialising is more fun when you can freeze those surprise life moments and then share them around groups of friends fast. So if you love messaging, the C62 is the phone for you."

For added convenience, the C62 comes with a wide range of Siemens Original Accessories. Besides the attachable QuickPic Camera with flash it offers a choice of practical carrying cases, different chargers and data cables as well as hands-free devices like the Headset PTT or like the flexible Car Kit Portable and Basic Car Pack as convenient in-car solutions.

The C62 weighs 85 grams and is available in three attractive colours - eagle white, pidgeon blue and cherry red. The phone will be available across Europe, Asia-Pacific from October 2003.
