Casio shows off A5403CA 2-megapixel camera phone

[Casio's new camera 2-megapixel camera phone offers 1,600 x 1,200 resolution (USGA).]

Casio has developed a 2-megapixel camera with a 2.2 inch QVGA crystal glass fine liquid color display. It is being introduced at Ceatec Japan 2003 currently going on near Tokiyo.

Features:

-Large capacity 12.8MB memory -USB Cradle charge stand and image forwarding software attachment "MySync Photo 2 experience version for A5403A" sends pictures to a PC automatically through USB port. -Pictures can be stored using the 16MB mini-SD external memory card.

-Auto focus

-Digital 10X Zoom

-Best Shot includes five picture taking modes including "Character," "Scener," "Night View," "Twilight," or "Close-up." These settings automatically allow picture-taking in dimlight easily and accurately.

The A5403A has been developed and manufactured by Casio for KDDI's au service in Japan.
