AT&T Wireless expected to launch 3G in four major US markets next week

AT&T Wireless is expected to launch 3G in four major US markets next week including San Francisco, Seattle, Phoenix and Detroit. Data speeds for the new W-CDMA service are expected to run at 200 Kbps to 300 Kbps. Reports add that charges for the new service are expected to be a fixed all-you-can-eat rate of $25 a month to consumers and an $80 fee for corporate customers. Two Nokia handsets and two Motorola handsets will be launched with the service along with a data card. One Motorola handset is expected to be the A845.
