[Nokia looks to Hybrid Graphics 3D technology to expand 3D-enabled multimedia functionality in its product line.]

Helsinki, Finland -- Hybrid Graphics, the leading provider of mobile 3D graphics technology has agreed with Nokia about licensing 3D graphics technology. Hybrid's OpenGL(R) ES, Java M3G and SVG solutions are already licensed by major mobile manufacturers for mobile games and navigation applications.

"We see a growing demand for a richer, 3D-enabled multimedia functionality in our product range," says Petri Haavisto, VP, Mobile Computing Platform, Nokia. "Hybrid is a recognized expert in the field of mobile graphics technology, and was a good candidate for our needs."

Hybrid has an extensive content partnership network, enabling leading mobile game and engine vendors target OpenGL ES-equipped handsets immediately. Hybrid's technology offering covers the full spectrum from mass-market mobile phones to upcoming high-end hardware accelerated devices. Hybrid is a Promoter level member of the Khronos Group, the standards organization behind the OpenGL(R) ES 3D standard.
