New York (Reuters) -- "But a merger of Sprint and Nextel could face several tough hurdles due to the different wireless technologies used in their networks, potential strife between management and control between equally matched partners, according to some analysts.

The Wall Street Journal said the deal would be worth more than $30 billion, and that the two companies have already settled management issues if a deal goes through."
