First Fully Integrated 3G EVDO Wireless Router

Lake Forest, CA -- Top Global, a leader in wireless convergence systems, announced today the World's first fully integrated Evolution Data Optimized (EVDO) wireless router the MobileBridge(tm) 7000. Top Global has developed and patented the flexible MobileBridge platform which serves as a gateway/router that links Third Generation Cellular (3G) network and Wi-Fi/LAN networks, enabling enterprises to enjoy the flexibility and convenience of broadband wireless internet in truly mobile and remote environments. Top Global's MB8000 and MB6000 series of products utilize a universal PCMCIA interface for external 3G cellular cards. As the market demand for EVDO router increases, there is clear advantage to embed EVDO module in our products. The customers now can get all they need in one complete product called 3G MobileBridge 7000. The MB7000 has many of the advanced networking, security, and management features leverage all the software and applications we have developed for MB8000 and MB6000. Devices with interfaces such as Wi-Fi, LAN, USB, Serial port can now be connected to wireless internet through the MB7000 anywhere at anytime.

The MB7000 unifies high speed EVDO, wireless local area (WLAN) networking, local area networking (LAN), universal serial bus (USB), CDMA 1x cellular voice, serial data communication, and location tracking in one fully integrated platform. Utilizing the Sierra Wireless EM5625 embedded module for EVDO networks, the MB7000 provides small office/home office (SOHO) and remote/mobile enterprise with easy access to broadband EVDO data services with up to 2.4Mbps peak speed. The MB7000 delivers ubiquitous broadband wireless internet by replacing Satellite, DSL and Cable modem.

Leverage Top Global's flexible MobileBridge platform, the MB7000 is designed to support innovative applications and rich features through the following:

-- Broadband Wireless Internet Access. The MB7000 will offer plug and play simplicity, top wireless security for internet and corporate intranet access. The MB7000 has built-in access control technology to allow wireless carriers to control the number of simultaneous devices for internet access.

-- Advanced Networking. The MB7000 with build in WLAN, LAN, USB, and Serial interfaces which can support most of the existing devices for networking. It offers SOHO, enterprise and residential users to connect multiple devices with multiple interfaces, including desktop PCs, laptops, PDA, printer, scanner, camera, MP3 and MPEG consumer electronics products to wireless broadband Internet

-- Advance Management. The MB7000 supports our patent pending proprietary network management as well as standard SNMP based network management features. Multiple MB7000 can be managed remotely and from a central location. New firmware and features can be upgrade over the air by the 3G router management software.

-- Top Security and Firewalls. MB7000 with its built-in firewalls which protects against intrusion. Our advance wireless protected access (WPA) and other wireless encryptions will enable enterprises to safely transfer files, securely access internet/corporate intranet, and conveniently send/receive emails

-- Location tracking. Leveraging gpsOne position-location technology, the MB7000 will provide wireless carriers with added flexibility for location tracking as well as location based services deliveries

-- Flexible software suites to meet various customer requirements. The MobileBridge platform is designed to have the flexibility to enable different applications through software. For example, the WLAN radio can be easily turned off for certain applications base on carrier's requirement. Port forwarding and Dynamic DNS feature can be enabled for remote video surveillance and monitoring solution. SIP protocol or QoS policy can be built in to support VoIP calls.
