Samsung ACE now available at Bell Canada

[Bell Canada announces the Samsung ACE global handset power by Windows Mobile 6.]

Bell today announced the exclusive availability of the Samsung ACE, a Windows Mobile(R)-based smartphone that offers both global voice and data service and access to the fastest and largest mobile data network across North America.

"The Samsung ACE is a high-speed and high-performance smartphone that business professionals will rely on to be connected and productive, both at home and abroad," said Adel Bazerghi, Vice President, Products for Bell Mobility.

The ACE operates on Bell's high-speed mobile data network across North America and on GSM/GPRS networks internationally for voice roaming in more than 180 countries and data roaming in more than 100.

Powered Windows Mobile 6, the ACE offers familiar Microsoft applications such as Outlook(R), Word, Excel(R), PowerPoint(R), as well as Internet Explorer(R) and Windows Media(R) Player Mobile, and also displays Adobe(R) Acrobat(R) PDF documents.

Mobile email

The ACE supports Bell's powerful Mobile email service that includes one business and up to four personal email addresses, as well as full personal information management (PIM) capabilities such as calendar, contacts, tasks and notes. Other features include:

- Full QWERTY keyboard for fast data input

- 128 MB ROM / 64 MB RAM

- Up to 2 MB of expandable memory (microSD card sold separately)

- Camera/camcorder

- Speakerphone

- Bluetooth(R) compatible
